Position: English Language Development Teacher
Education: Master's Degree, University of Tennessee
ELL K-12 Endorsement, Tennessee State University
Experience: I began teaching English when I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mongolia in 1991. Then, I taught on the Ramah Navajo Reservation in Pine Hill, New Mexico. I've been teaching ELD (it was called ESL--English as a Second Language--when I came here!) in Nashville since 1995. This is my 6th year at Apollo. I love teaching ELD. I have the best students in the world!
Interests: I love to read!!! I also sail, knit, sew, cook, and I love to dig in the dirt! I grow flowers, herbs and vegetables.
